Gaming hardware manufacturer AORUS has revealed that it will be hosting a Valorant tournament this month in support of GlobalGiving's Coronvirus Relief Fund.

The AORUS Xtreme Showdown is set to take place on September 5 and will offer a grand prize of $10,000. The teams battling it out within the competition will be captained by Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Michael "Sonii" Sherman.

The $10,000 sum will also be matched in a donation that AORUS will make to the aforementioned charity, which we have to say, is a pretty sizable donation. The charity, at the time of writing, is about £1.5 million away from its goal, and we imagine that efforts like this will do wonders for spreading awareness and raising donations from viewers.

Thanks, Dot Esports.
