T1 has decided that a refresh is in order as it has parted ways with both Braxton "brax" Pierce and Keven "AZK" Larivière within its Valorant squad. No specification reason was given for their departure, but T1 posted to thank both players for their efforts on Twitter.

Posting on Twitter, the team said: "Thank you for being such an integral part of T1 VALORANT - best of luck in your future endeavours & we'll see you on the server!"

Brax had been with T1 since March 2020 and had represented them within competitions such as the PAX Arena Invitational and First Strike North America. AZK, on the other hand, joined the team in April 2020, after playing both CS:GO and Overwatch at a competitive level.
