Valve are introducing the Steam Wallet, allowing users of their digital distribution service to preload their accounts with funds. Amounts of £4, £8, £18, £35 and £70 can be slipped into the ethereal cyber-wallet if you're in the UK, with Euro-fans abiding by the following increments: €5, €10, €25, €50, €100.
The funds can then be used to purchase full games, or content from within games - that is, DLC and micro-transactions gubbins. The funds can also be bought using prepaid cards, presumably from high-street retailers, allowing non-credit card bearing gamers to get in on all that fun spending they've been missing out on.
