Curve Digital has revealed that they'll be bringing FuturLab's Velocity 2X to the Nintendo Switch on September 20, marking the first time a Velocity game has come to a Nintendo platform, introducing a whole new group of fans to Lt. Kai Tana.
Velocity 2X first launched in 2014 to much fanfare, combining shoot 'em up action with rapid platforming, and now it'll be coming to Switch at 1080p and 60FPS docked, while in handheld we can expect 720p while still running at 60FPS.
"FuturLab have put a lot of effort into this release, we hope Nintendo players get as addicted to Velocity 2X as we are when it launches on September 20th," said Cédrine Décoret, Product Manager.
