Riot Games is getting ahead of things and has now revealed the host cities and venues, and the dates for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship. As revealed in a new blog post, the dates, venues, and cities can be found below:

  • Play-In Stage - October 10-15 at LoL Park in Seoul

  • Swiss Stage - October 19-23 and October 26-29 at KBS Arena in Seoul

  • Knockouts - Quarterfinals between November 2-5 and Semifinals between November 11-12 at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan

  • World Final - November 19 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul

As for why the World Final is set for later than expected, this is because League of Legends is a medal sport at the 19th Asian Games, and Riot wants to support this tournament.

Otherwise, tickets for the annual tournament will start going on sale in July, with Play-In Stage tickets up on July 10, Swiss Stage tickets on July 19, and Knockout and World Final tickets planned for August 2.
