Station to Station (Gamescom 2023) - All aboard!

"Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new Gamereactor Gamescom Impressions video in which today we're going to relax and talk about a game that I was really looking forward to talk about because I discovered it at Gamescom 2023 and, I don't know, I really liked the concept I really loved the art style and I really liked it in general and yes, I'm talking about Station to Station, ok?
A minimalist and relaxing game about building railway connections It's as simple as that, ok?
The main objective or the main idea of the game is just that it's just solving this kind of strategic puzzles in which we'll have to realize which way is the best way to just connect these railway connections to just check out how our environment, how our biome and how even life is progressing with, well, with our level, with our very own progression It's all about progressing and realize those progressions results, if we can say it like that Why? Because every time that we progress in a level, ok?
All the biome, as I said, and all the life is going to progress with us, ok?
Because we're basically bringing life with these railway connections and we're going to realize that we're progressing just because of this life growing, ok?
We're going to realize that, well, that buildings are improving, are upgrading They're better built, etc."

"Our cities are growing too, well, our cities, our farms, depending on the biome, ok?
But are going to grow with us, progress with us, etc.
We're going to realize that we're bringing life thanks to the flora and fauna that we're going to found every time that we, well, connect properly those railways, etc."

"And basically, as I've said, we're bringing life to different biomes and that was, I think that was the thing that I liked the most because obviously it's a relaxing game, as we've said and the game itself is just built to just give us this relaxing and peaceful experience but just by watching all the details that every scenario, that every biome has is just worth it, I mean, even though you don't care about trains I mean, for example, I don't care about trains but if you like puzzle solving games, if you like beautiful environments and if you like this kind of beautiful, colorful box art you're going to love it, it's just a chilling experience obviously you'll have to think and every level is going to be a little bit more challenging they're going to introduce more mechanics, more buildings more and different type of connections, etc."

"But it's all about enjoying the views, enjoying the journey, you know and bringing back life to these biomes as I've said, everything is going to grow with us we're going to find different flora and fauna every level is going to be different with new mechanics, new flora and fauna different buildings, etc."

"and we're going to play in different biomes we're going to find different difficulties, etc.
and of course the game is all about progression, as I've said and we'll have to complete these levels but we'll have main goals, ok?
and essential goals to just complete those levels and progress in the game in general but also, if you like it, even though this is a relaxing and peaceful experience they're going to give us some optional strategic goals to just make the game a little bit more challenging and earn high scores if we want to or just take the maximum of every level just watching how far can we go how can we improve this biome, etc."

"and that's it, how far can we go and actually, I would say that's it I would say that it's all about building these connections earning money to just build more things in the future complete the goals, complete side or optional goals if you want to enjoy the journey, enjoy the views enjoy this amazing and gorgeous art style that I fell in love with at the very first moment that I saw it and, I don't know, it's all about that but it's all about a challenge too, if you want to I would say that it's a really complete game in that terms because, obviously, I played a little bit at Gamescom 2023 even though we didn't have that much time but I played a little bit and some of those optional challenges or optional goals or however you want to call it were actually really challenging and we've seen different levels and we've seen different difficulties through these levels and I think it's going to be challenging with time and I really like it because I know that I'm repeating myself a lot but I would say that this game it's all about progression during the game, during the levels during a very own level through its visual art everything is going to turn vibrant but also as we're going to experiment this growing of life, etc everything is going to be, well, way more difficult because that's life, no?
and, I don't know I would say that it's all about that a relaxing and peaceful experience that was so cool to just enjoy it was challenging sometimes if you focus on every goal but it was indeed chilling it was relaxing it was beautiful it was entertaining it was, I would say, addicting I think once if you like puzzle solving games if you like this relaxing game and, well, if you like trains just to add at the very top of this list you're going to actually love it and you'll probably have problems trying to stop playing because you say, oh, ok, but then what if I do this?
what if I try to connect it like this?
oh no, but I don't have enough budget so what can I do?
well, let's try to do it in here oh, and finally, I've achieved this goal what can I do next?
