War Child, the charity aiming to provide support for children affected by armed conflict worldwide, has launched the world's first mobile gaming armistice this month, bringing mobile developers together to raise funds and awareness for their cause.

There has already been a moment of silence in Verdun, and over 11,000 players have donated money to War Child by downloading a DLC in World of Tanks. Verdun will even reactivate their Christmas Truce DLC, which collected more than £17,000 last year.

For the mobile armistice games like Dragon City, DomiNations, Royal Revolt 2, War Wings, Brave Cross, The Respawnables, Dawn of Titans, March of Empires, War Planet Online: Global Conquest, Total War Battles: Kingdom, and 99 Bricks: Wizard Academy all have exclusive challenges, peace items, and in-app purchase sales, all of which makes War Child's armistice the world's largest mobile gaming movement in support of children affected by war.

War Child's mobile activations for armistice will take place between now and December 7, an Android users can check out the collection here.

"There's room for it to grow, and with more maps and some different modes thrown into the mix, there's no reason why it can't continue to improve and evolve."
