One of the most notable additions to Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is the Beastmen, a new enemy faction which consists unsurprisingly of anthropomorphic beasts, with tough and animal-like reflexes.
The Winds of Magic game mode itself is set to provide a new challenge for even the most experienced players, as difficulty rises upon the completion of each map. With changing winds modifying the maps and new objectives to beat, there's plenty for returning players to sink their teeth into.
Five new weapons have also been added to the game, each one tailored to the heroes' playstyle and class. Bardin has been given new throwing knives, Kerillian gets a shield and spear, Saltzpyre has a billhook, Kruber can use a heavy spear, while Sienna is able to flail flames at the enemies.
In addition to the new content, the level cap has been raised, along with a new higher difficulty setting and leaderboard functionality.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 expansion Winds of Magic will be released in August. The beta version will be available in June - you can sign up to play here.
