It seems a significant number of players have been complaining about the efficacy of a particular weapon from Watch Dogs 2, particularly during online play. The weapon in question is the .50 Cal sniper rifle, and it may be for that reason that it just got nerfed big time in a new update. Ubisoft admitted the gun was overpowered, and reduced the number of rounds on the clip from six to one, meaning you will have to reload after every shot you take.

Another highlight of update 1.09 is a fix of an issue on the world map that players were allegedly exploiting to discover invaders in online play. Other than that, the new patch improves general stability and performance, while preparing the game for "upcoming updates". Patch 1.09 is out now on PS4, with the PC and Xbox One versions coming soon.

Did you use the sniper rifle a lot?
