Forza Motorsport 7 is almost upon us (you can check out our review already though), and in the following video we capture three significant new features in Forza Motorsport 7 that some sim racing fans will love.
For some reason Microsoft has been showing Forza 7 with gamepad controls in most of the preview events so far, and so it's been tricky to deeply test it as a simulator with racing wheel and pedals until review. For this reason, the following clip, which has been captured with a Fanatec CSW V2.5 + Pedals V3 Inverted set, offers a better idea on how the new racing game works with these peripherals, which, by the way, is actually better than both Forza 6 and 5 in this regard.
Another welcomed difference, as the game cover shows, is the ability to drive Porsche cars from day one. Instead of picking the 911 GT2 RS -which by now you've seen a lot of - we choose the wonderful 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4, as we race on the Mugello Autodromo Internazionale, among the best tracks in the game.
Finally, we also check a camera view that users have been requesting for years: the brand new inner Driver View. Between Bonnet and Cockpit, and without in-game driver hands or wheel, it allows for racing wheel users to have a much better perspective, as after all they have their own hands and wheels right in front of them.
Forza 7 launches tomorrow, October 3, on PC and Xbox One, but if you're waiting for the best of the best in terms of visuals, there's a 4K 60 FPS update coming in time for the launch of the Xbox One X too.
