Valve has finally announced Counter-Strike 2 after various teases over the past few weeks and this has driven the CS fanbase into a frenzy. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has reached record numbers as people flock to the series to prepare for the sequel.

On the esports side of things, Valve is also preparing for the sequel, and is doing so by announcing when the last CS:GO Major will be held and likewise when the first CS2 Major will take place.

As noted on Twitter, the upcoming Paris Major will be the final CS:GO Major, and as for when the next will take place, we're told that the first CS2 Major will be set for March 2024.

A bit of a wait between the two events, would you like to see Valve fill it out with extra tournaments?
