World War Z has been updated this week, designed to bring players back into the co-op action just in time for Halloween. "Kill it with Fire" is the name of the latest patch and it introduces two new missions to the game. The first, "Dead in the Water", puts players in the heart of New York City, while "Resurrection" sends you out to survive Moscow.
On top of that, there is a new flamethrower with which we can light the Z-hordes that come too close. Furthermore, some players will appreciate that Saber Interactive has unlocked the Prestige option, which allows you to partially reset your progress in order to unlock new rewards.
In addition to that, the developers have released a Season Pass on Xbox One and PS4, which offers all current and upcoming additional content, according to Saber. It includes the two DLC packs Lobo and Biohazard, as well as upcoming characters, weapons and three PvE missions that are scheduled for spring 2020. For the rest of the year, the studio continues its cross-play plan, as well as a horde mode and more zombies to kill. Hopefully, all of that will be done by the end of the year.
