WW1 shooter Verdun confirmed for console release

Team-based FPS heading to PS4 and Xbox One.

Verdun was released on PC last year, and you can read our review of the game here. It was a solid start to life, and the devs, Blackmill Games, have been working on it and adding content ever since.

Rumours had been floating around earlier this month with word on the street that a console release was inbound, this following a leak courtesy of the European ratings board, PEGI. These rumours have now been confirmed as being true.

Verdun will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on August 30, meaning that it will launch before Battlefield 1 and thus be the first WW1 shooter to make it to this generation of consoles. You can check out the announcement trailer for the shooter below.
