Firaxis and 2K Games have revealed the pre-purchase options for Xcom 2's new expansion War of the Chosen, including its price tag of £34.99/ €39.99, allowing players access to the new story missions and units when it releases on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 29.
Now, although we know the scope of the new DLC is huge, some fans are still unhappy about the high price of the expansion, as it's almost as expensive as the base game itself. On the other side of the coin, there are fans defending the price tag considering the amount of content that's being added, and its transformative nature.
What is your take on this? Are you willing to support Firaxis's next foray into the Xcom universe, or are you now waiting for a discount?
