Yakuza 1-4 have been reprinted

The official Twitter page for the Yakuza game has confirmed what many on the internet assumed was true: that Yakuza 1-4 have been reprinted and are available to buy now.

The hype began after Twitter user Sam Mullen, producer at Atlus USA and managing Sega's JP lineup, tweeted: "Apparently a retailer out in North America placed a reorder for these classics, sooooo limited reprint!"

This confirmation by the Yakuza Twitter is great news for fans of the series, and you can buy them either through Video Games Plus or Amazon, individually or in a bundle. But be warned - they're near enough full price.

NeoGAF took the news quite well, especially given the rarity of Yakuza 2 in particular, although some did express their aversion due to the price. Are old games worth full price if they're reprinted and good quality?
