Your grandmother's PC can't play Wrath

Or maybe it can, depending on how tech-savvy your grandmother is. World of Warcraft has always been quite forgiving when it came to the minimum specs required to run, but Blizzard has upped the ante for the coming expansion. Not by much, mind, and I don't think most dedicated PC-gamers have to panic. Not much, at least. Then again, far from all WoW-players are dedicated PC-gamers. Or gamers at all, since WoW is a lifestyle choice and not a game.

I am quite sure that my laptop will not like Wrath, since it really didn't like The Burning Crusade (try fighting Falconers in The Eye with 3 - 5 frames per second...good thing I was a rogue), so I guess I will be stuck at my desk this time around. But if you do worry about your computer being up to speed, check the requirements below (or go QQ in the official forum post).

PC System Requirements

OS: Windows XP (Service Pack 3), Windows Vista (Service Pack 1)

Processor:

- Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 1.3 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+
- Recommended: Dual-core processor, such as the Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2

Memory:

- Minimum: 512 MB RAM (1GB for Vista users)
- Recommended: 1 GB RAM (2 GB for Vista users)

Video:

- Minimum: 3D graphics processor with Hardware Transform and Lighting with 32 MB VRAM. Such as an ATI Radeon 7200 or NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or better
- Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM. Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better
