Zelda: Skyward Sword is not coming to Switch

You might recall that, during the weekend, a rumour suggested The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was being worked on for Nintendo Switch. Reports mentioned that the series creator himself, Eiji Aonuma, confirmed as much during a Zelda concert in Japan.

Well, that might not be actually be an accurate account. According to Eurogamer, a Nintendo "spokeperson" told them that there are currently no plans to adapt The Legend of Zelda: Skyrward Sword to the Nintendo Switch.

It would seem that the outright denial is the one to trust in this case as a standard "no comment" would have been issued if there were plans for a remaster.
